4th edition of the Short Film Competition Ta'anga Kyre'ỹ

Registration is open to participate in the 4th Short Film Competition Ta'anga Kyre'ỹ. May participate paraguayan citizens or foreigners with a minimum of five years residence in Paraguay, who meet the terms and conditions of the Regulation. 
The proposed topics are: Gender, Human Rights and Environmental Care. Works submitted may address one or more of these issues in any way, treatment, style or genre: documentary, fiction, animation and experimental. Short advertising, business or institutional not be accepted. 
Registration will be Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 16 pm. In the Media Office of the Cultural Center of the City, Carlos Colombino, Manzana de la Rivera, Ayolas 129 and Benjamin Constant, where you will be issued and must demand a return receipt. The August 18th, 2014 will be the last day of registration. 
The works received will go through a selection process conducted by a national jury composed of personalities linked with films and Paraguayan cultural activity, designated by the organizer. This jury will select up to eight (8) finalists Works, which will be displayed in the programming of the 23rd International Film Festival (September) and brought to the attention of an international jury will select the winners of the following awards: 
1) Best Short Film 
2) Special Award "Women in Film" (slogan of the 23rd Festival) 
3) Best Short Youngest Filmmaker 
4) Best Performance 
5) Best Screenplay 
6) Best Student Short 
The awards, which include cash and valuable materials will be supplied as closing of the 23rd International Film Festival. The quality of the winner and the right to claim the Prizes are not transferable.
